Hmm thinking...

Today I've been seriously considering quitting Hawks Ridge alot sooner. Reasons are too great and numerous to put on this blog. But here are the five main reasons. 1. I can go to church every week and not worry about feeling guilty for it. 2. I can get 40 hrs/week at Safeway. 3. I can get more money at Safeway. 4. The politics of Hawks Ridge are overly stressful. 5. I would have more time for friends. Well that's all for now. I cant think anymore. Cya

Phew....

Today was the busiest day at Starbucks. I probably made 25 frappuchinos in 15 minutes. First of all, tuesday is supposed to be the least-busy day of the week. Second, The end of hte month is supossed to be the slower part of hte month. Tomorrow is gonna be interesting. Theres a "BO-GO" sale all day tomorrow. It's gonna be hectic. Today was pretty easy at hawks Ridge though. I really dont wanna work there anymore. BUT, I need the money badly. My teeth hurt......um...yeah sorry. Little sidenote there. Anyway, I dont have to work tomorrow [till 1pm @ Starbucks] so i'll be probably hanging out here sleeping on the trampoline. I dunno. Ah yeah. I remember. I'm gonna go up to the [sorry about my spelling bear with me] Krag Rat Hut. I'm gonna help with setup and design. It's gonna be cool. Well gtg Cya

Fellin good

Wednesday and thursday were the 2 best days of my life.....or maybe just the past few months. I sat outside all day long and relaxed. Today is going pretty good. I got 9 hours of sleep and we were busy all day at Starbucks. I live for stress. not the bad stress as listed in STRESS but the adrenaline rush that i get when i know i can work and make a mess and clean it up in less time than it took me to make it. I guess it's just the adrenaline i'm addicted to. hmm. yeah so now i'm going to work to train a new employee. I really like having 12+ hour workdays. otherwise i would do nothing but sit at home all day and get fatter. Now I have something to do all day and I like that. not to mention the more people I'm meeting and the friends that i'm making. i like people. well gtgtw [got to go to work]

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...

I have had 2 of the most wonderful days of my life. I did nothing today. I got up and took my sisters to school, watched a little tv, sat in the hot tub, got a bad sunburn, read 2oo pages of a really cool book, and talked for an hour and 15 minuted with a friend. ahhhhhh what a day. i'm gonna do it again next month towards the end may/june-ish . then i'll be spending my time with my uncle. i'm really liking this situation of me working and then having 2 days by myself. it's working fantastically not to mention that i'm the first person at safeway starbucks to have overtime. it was an accident but still my paycheck is thick. well i'm gonna go watch a movie. cya

The almost perfect day

I went to bed last night at 12pm. [backtrack: I make myself get at least 8 hours of sleep every night before the next day so....] I woke up at exactly 8:00am. my alarm didn't go off. i did not hear a noise. my internal clock woke me up exactly 8 hours from when i went to bed. so then i got up and had a bowl of cereal and took a shower and went outside only to feel the 70 degree weather. [ i didn't have to work obviously in the morning.] then i sat outside on the trampoline and soaked in the sun while i listened to my iPod through the stereo i had brought out. then i noticed the grass was needing a trimming so i got the lawn mower out and mowed it. this being a feat i had not done for the past 18 months due to allergy attacks, i felt pretty good that i didnt fall backward into the fetal position while sneezing my brains out. then i went to work and work went extremely smoothly. I then came home and finally finished installing my cd car stereo and fixed a few other peevish things in my car. now i'm here in totall bliss because i dont have to work for 2 whole days [tomorrow and thursday]. sigh. if anyone wants to hang call me. if you dont know me and are reading this blog i hope you find some entertainment soon because you've got to be really bored to be reading this whole thing.the people who do know me know that i'm just babbling and will let me be in my own ignorant bliss. have a nice day. cya

STRESS

My boss at Hawks Ridge is STRESSED. not the regular every day whatamigonnafixfordinner stress. NOOOO she beats them all. EVERYTHING that goes wrong, she takes on her shoulders. She has a "we're not gonna make it" mentality when we are serving food. She also has a victim complex. I was feeling sick this morning and she made me soooo stressed just by being around her that i was thinking some nasty things to say to her. But then i realized what i was thinking and i think that my cold was really affecting me. Now i'm still stressed and i gotta go to my other job. I like to work by myself and tonight i close by myself . actually i'm gonna be by myself for 5 and a half hours today. 3-8:30 well i'll write later. cya

Easter Sunday

Ahhhhhhhhh today was a nice day. I did nothing for most of the day. It is the first day in 29 days or so of straight 7 days a week work. I also have wednesday and thursday off too. We went to church at westside gym and it was really really day-jah-vou [or however you spell it]-ish because we met there for about a year a few years ago. But i spent most of the day hanging out with stephanie, playing catch [1st time in about 5 years that i've played catch]. then my dad got an old/new to us scooter. it's not street legal but it's fun. Now i'm tired from jumping on the trampoline and cold from riding the scooter. i just uploaded some new pictures today from church and some i took outside. take a look i'll talk later cya

Great fun

I went to work today and then to my other work. nothing much. Then I went to a friends house for her birthday party. we played a game i'm not sure what it's called but everyone takes a piece of paper, you write down a line of a complete thought ie: Jane started her day normal when suddenly...then you hand it to the next person and they write down another full line BUT also fold your line back before passing to conceal what you wrote. Therefor giving the next person only 1 line to go off of. this continues until the end of the paper. Reading them aloud is by far the funniest thing you will experience. I cried so much from how hard i was laughing. everyone could not stop to breathe. Now I have Sunday and Wednesday and thursday off from both jobs to recoop. I was going into portland with my mom to hang out for the day on thursday but it seems whe'll be on a plane at 8am bound for tennessee to see my Mamaw who had a mini-stroke the other day. so yeah hopefully i'll be able to hang out with some friends but we'll see. well i'm going to bed and TOMORROW"S EASTER. i'll type later whem i'm not so tired.
So it comes to a total of 29 days of straight work from the day i started to today. ok i'm done gnite

Yeah....so....money

I happened to switch from cascade central credit union to wells fargo this past couple of weeks agon and forgot to switch my auto-pay to pay for my auto. [state Farm] so i had to rush over there the other day and now i look online to find out that i'm over drawn but as "luck" would have it...i=my visa card is charged the overdrawn amount. so. now i have my first visa bill which i am going to try to pay tomorrow as to get out of "debt" and build a little credit. so now i'm starting to use my transaction book now. and it is HARD to stop everything and write...stuff...down.......heh heh heh. ok so i'm lazy at trying to keep track of my money but I'm trying to get better at it. so now i just hafta keep up with it. on a side note. i've got almost a whole semester saved up for college. it's really hard to find scholarships that I can use. most are for high school seniors ONLY. or "you must go to a college in Pensawheela county to get this scholarship. also. i cannot get ANY federal aid because od some act with something having to do with seperation of church and state. whatever. the point is that i'm saving but i really need to get my spending and my saving in shape. ok i'm done. gotta go write in my little black book now cya

Anthrax at......Starbucks?

So work was ok today. I worked the 7-12 shift. Right in the middle of my shift the Dalles Safeway Starbucks called [we're all intertwined and share products that we run out of with each other] and the manager Lindsey was working the morning shift [4:30am-12pm] and her closing person called in sick. Then the mid shift person also called in sick and no one could help her so she asked for our assistance [me] to come over there and work with her for about a few hours. I said I would but we'd have to call someone in early for me. that person ended up not able to come in early so lindsey had to work from 4:30am-8:30pm. poor lindsey. So now i'm going to work at Hawks ridge. HEY {sidenote} go look at the new building for SVBC/Horizon it's coming up pretty cool. Cya

So I didn't die.......

Yeah so my friend Amancay told me today that she thought that I had fallen off of the face of the earth......and right now I feel like it. I just got hired by Safeway Starbucks. At first I was a courtesy clerk but then Becky Beals (family friend) saw me and asked me if I wanted to come work for her in Starbucks. The plus is: I get safeway benefits ie: insurance, etc. And there's really no negative cept for I get 2 bucks less an hour there than at Hawks Ridge, which by the way I still work at. Yep... I'm holdin on to two jobs. Starbucks in the morning and Hawks Ridge in the afternoon. I usually work 7 days a week. So if ya ever wanna see me, come by Starbucks in the morning. Well speaking of starbucks. I gotta go to bed because I hafta get up to go to work at 7 am tomorrow. I'll write later.
